No personal data collection

You do not register, log in or provide any personal information to use Crypto Bubbles. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or wallet address, and we do not store a portfolio for you.

Your settings stay in your browser

Your preferences — timeframe, page, currency, bubble sizing, colours, colour blind mode and language — are stored on your own device, partly in localStorage and partly in cookies (cb_colorblind, cb_cookie_consent). Watchlists you create are saved in localStorage only.

None of this is transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

Market data runs through our own servers

Prices, news headlines and coin logos come from third-party providers such as CoinGecko and CoinDesk. Your browser never contacts them directly — every request is proxied through our own API. Those providers therefore never receive your IP address.

Server logs

Our servers keep standard access logs (IP address, time of the request, requested URL, browser type and referring page) in order to run the service, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify individual visitors.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general usage patterns, such as which pages and timeframes are popular. Google sets its own cookies and processes this data under its own privacy policy. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Push notifications (optional)

If you allow browser notifications, we store the endpoint URL your browser generates along with the cryptographic keys needed to deliver a message. That record contains no name, no email address and no other identifying detail.

Switch notifications off in your browser settings at any time and the record is deleted.

Advertising

Ads are delivered by third-party networks including Bitmedia, Coinzilla, Cointraffic, Hypelab, Coinscribble and A-Ads. These networks may set their own cookies and collect usage data under their own privacy policies. We do not pass any information about you to them ourselves.

Affiliate links

Some links to exchanges, hardware wallets and other services contain a referral parameter. If you sign up or buy through one of them, we may receive a commission. This never costs you anything extra and it does not influence which coins are shown or how they are ranked.

The embeddable widget

The bubblemap can be embedded on other websites. The widget reads its configuration from the URL, stores nothing on your device and builds no profile.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run cross-site tracking of our own. We do not store wallets, portfolios or transactions. We do not build user profiles, and we do not share anything with advertisers beyond what their own scripts collect in your browser.

Children

Crypto Bubbles is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always appears on this page together with the date it was last changed.
